Information You Provide
Depending on how you interact with us, we collect information you provide when placing an order, requesting a custom project or restoration estimate, submitting a contact form, uploading photographs, creating an account, participating in discussions, posting reviews, or subscribing to updates.
This may include your name, email address, telephone number, billing and delivery addresses, order details, account information, messages, project specifications, and photographs.
You may purchase without creating an account. We still need the information required to process and fulfill your order.
How We Use Information
We use information to respond to inquiries, prepare estimates, manage and fulfill orders, arrange delivery, provide customer support, maintain accounts and community features, prevent spam and misuse, and maintain business records.
If you subscribe to marketing updates, we use your subscription information to send those updates. You may unsubscribe through the instructions in the message or by contacting us.
Orders and Payments
Our shop uses WooCommerce to manage orders and store the customer information needed to fulfill them. We currently offer offline payment arrangements. WooPayments is not currently enabled to accept online payments.
Please do not send payment-card numbers or other sensitive financial credentials through contact forms, photograph uploads, public discussions, or ordinary email.
Accounts, Comments, Reviews, and Discussions
Information you submit to public areas, including comments, reviews, and forum discussions, may be visible to other visitors. Please avoid including private contact details, financial information, or information about others without their permission.
When you submit comments or other contributions, the website may record technical information such as your IP address and browser details to support moderation, security, and spam prevention.
If Gravatar profile images are enabled, a hash derived from your email address may be sent to Gravatar to check for an associated image. An approved contribution may display that image publicly. See Automattic’s Privacy Policy for information about that service.
Photographs and Project Submissions
Photographs and details submitted privately for an inquiry, estimate, or project are used to assess and carry out that work. We will obtain separate permission before using those photographs for our portfolio or marketing.
Images you choose to post in public areas may be visible or downloadable by other visitors. Images can contain embedded information, including location data. Remove sensitive metadata before uploading images publicly.
Cookies and Technical Information
The website uses cookies and similar functionality to support shopping-cart contents, customer sessions, login features, and preferences. The website and its hosting systems may also process technical information, such as IP addresses, browser details, and access logs, to operate and secure the service.
You can manage cookies through your browser settings. Blocking cookies may prevent parts of the shopping cart, checkout, or account features from working correctly.
Store Reporting
WooCommerce’s administrative reporting tools help us review orders, sales, and store performance using information held by the shop.
Jetpack Stats is not currently enabled for visitor analytics. We will update this policy if our use of analytics or other data services changes.
Service Providers and Other Disclosures
Information needed to operate our business may be processed by service providers supporting website hosting, email delivery, order fulfillment, and shipping. For example, a delivery provider needs the recipient’s name and delivery address.
Authorized website administrators may access information as needed to operate the website and assist customers. We may also disclose information when required by law or necessary to address fraud, security incidents, or disputes.
Facebook, Marketplace, and External Content
We also interact with customers through The Last Petal LLC on Facebook and Facebook Marketplace. Information you provide through those platforms is also subject to their own privacy policies and settings.
If a page contains embedded content from another website, that provider may collect information about your interaction with the embedded content. Following an external link takes you to a service governed by its own policies.
How Long We Keep Information
We retain information for as long as reasonably needed for its purpose, including fulfilling orders, supporting customers, maintaining project records, resolving disputes, and meeting accounting or legal obligations.
Account information is retained while the account remains active, subject to necessary recordkeeping. Public contributions and associated moderation records may remain until removed. Backup copies may persist until replaced through the backup cycle.
Your Choices and Privacy Requests
You may contact us to request access to, correction of, or deletion of personal information we hold about you. We may need to verify your identity before responding.
Some information may need to be retained for order records, legal obligations, security, or dispute resolution. Available rights and any exceptions depend on applicable law.
You may also request removal of a public contribution or withdraw permission for future marketing use of your project photographs by contacting us.
Policy Updates
We may update this policy when our services or information practices change. The effective date at the top identifies the latest revision.
